Oh Mamma I'm seeing the world through venetian blinds.
Cars and buildings are cut in two and in four-
no one sees me up here anymore.
I
I want out, I want in.
I need something, but what, I just don't know-
my thoughts and needs are sliced, row after row.
I
Come sit with me, oh please be a friend.
Won't someone help me find-
The way to raise this goddamn venetian blind.
