news

Sunday, March 20, 2011 Jon Weller has started a new band! You can find them at the following places:

Wednesday, August 13, 2008 Congratulations to Alex and Jacquie on the arrival of Joel Reed Walker, a beautiful 8lb, 5oz. baby boy!

Thursday, August 7, 2008 Unfortunately, this year's TomFest appearance had to be canceled. See their MySpace Blog for more info.

Monday, July 21, 2008 New information has been added to the Shows page, most notably about their 2008 Tom Festival appearance.

Saturday, July 19, 2008 Patrick and Alex are playing a Benefit Concert for a little old historic church in Sherwood that is trying to raise money for a new roof. This little church also has embraced Alex's parents and supported, cried with, prayed for and loved on Alex's mom in her battle with breast cancer. That sits well with us. We're going to help them keep their building in one piece.

Sunday, July 20th 7 PM. Admission is a measly $5 suggested donation, and there will be food and drinks and dessert for $2 each....

So come, bring a couple lawn chairs, a blanket, a field recorder, whatever-- this will be a fun night. We'll be doing plenty of new stuff, some old stuff, and some Never Ever Heard Before stuff. Requests are welcome. You could even email us a set list..... See you there!

Sunday, May 10, 2008 Just poking my head in to let you know that we are all still alive here, and the lack of news items lately is due to a lack of news rather than to a lack of interest. We'll post anything as soon as we know it. In the mean time, happy Mother's Day to Jacquie Walker and all the other mother's out there.

Thursday, March 7, 2008 - New! The "Photo Album" is now online! The collection will grow, but for now there are photos from the George Fox show on 02.08.08 as well as some from approximately 10 years earlier.

Tuesday, February 12, 2008 - New! The "Listen" section is now open with rare recordings, bootlegs, and other fun files. There are only a couple items for now, but it will grow as I have time to put things up there.

Saturday, February 9, 2008 - Video Footage Available! There is now video footage of last night's show online, and more to come. See the Forum for more details.

Friday, February 8, 2008 - The CD release show was cause for much speechlessness. For many long-time fans who never thought they'd actually see the day Five O'clock People played again, it was like being transported back in time 6 years. Even though the sound has evolved and they played mostly new stuff, it was in all ways a Five O'clock People show. The CD is out, and while those of you tracking their MySpace page have heard it all already, it's great to have it in the CD player and sounding incredible. It's so good to have them back.

Thursday, February 7, 2008 - The rest of the site is now online, although there will be a lot of updating and content added over the next few days with the release of the new album tomorrow and the CD release show at George Fox tomorrow night.

Wednesday, February 6, 2008 - The "Music" section is now online with the Songs, Lyrics, and Discography updated. In addition, the domain fiveoclockpeople.org is now active again so you can more easily get here that way!

Monday, January 28, 2008 - Welcome to the new Any Little Anything site. Since the band has reinvented itself, I decided this site should as well. Unfortunately, I'm just getting started so all that's here right now is the news and the new discussion forum that has replaced the old mailing lists. I'm looking forward to some great discussions so head on over there and sign up. The rest of the site will be coming on line over the next few days. The biggest news is that the band will be playing at George Fox University (at Bauman Audiorium) on February 8th in support of the (keeping my fingers crossed) release of their new album, which is scheduled to be out that day. So their 6 month hiatus turned into 6 years instead. I guess if Boston can do it then so can Five O'clock People, right? Check here for more info.
